With their soul stone, they are able to grow in power and strength. Without it, they will weaken and die. Many abilities and powers can be acquired from the soul stones. How powerful you get, is up to you though.

FALL - The temperature is starting to fall a bit as it starts to cool off. The sun isn't as hot and the relief from the heat is much needed.
Soul Stones was created by Nala. The skin was created by Dorothia @ Adoxography. The tabbed sidebar was created by kimset of RPG D'. Plug ins were made by their respective PB member. All other character info belongs to their rightful owner. Mini profile belongs to Leif. Tiger image belongs to chunga-stock. Jungle image belongs to foolishsunsets. Pixels belong to Ails.
A character's soul stone is their life force. They are to carry it at all times because if it is removed, the carrier will lose all their abilities and heightened strength. As your character grows and develops through roleplay, they are able to move up and advance their soul stone level. With new levels comes new powers and new abilities.
When creating a character, they must start out with a Pente soul stone. The only way to start at a different soul stone level is by either purchasing a soul stone token from the site store or adopting a canon character. Age plays no part in what soul stone a character can have. Though a youngster isn't usually going to have a high level soul stone.
In order to reach the next soul stone level, your character must complete certain objectives. Once all of their objectives are met, post in the soul stone upgrade board in order to get reviewed by a staff.
Pente Soul Stone - Starting point for new characters. Gain enhanced strengthen and resistance to illness.(Soul stone is a dark blue color.) - complete claims in directory & statistics - fill out all mini profile information - complete a thread (includes how/where your character wears their soul stone) - complete a thread (any thread)
Tessera Soul Stone - Gain the ability to add one luminescent color to their coat. Color starts off only appearing when character experiences emotional spikes. Color can follow normal coat markings or create separate patterns. Later, color can be mastered and will appear at all times or on command. (Soul stone is a blue color.) - complete a thread (includes discovery of tessera ability & stone changing color) - complete a thread (includes training to control new ability) - complete a thread (includes character practicing/using new ability) - complete a thread (any thread)
Tria Soul Stone - Gain ability to turn invisible or camouflage themselves. Females commonly learn to turn invisible while males commonly learn to camouflage themselves. Hard ability to control. Usually used easiest during emotional spikes. Dyo Soul Stone - Gain ability to manipulate one of the four elements. Ability is minimal control of element. Fire is the only element that can be created from nothing. Ena Soul Stone - Gain extended life and super speed or flight. Females commonly gain flight while males commonly gain super speed. Wing markings appear somewhere on the body for both males and females. Actual wings usually only appear when being used. Later, wings can be visible at all times. (Soul stone is a mint color.)
Ena is normally the top level for normal characters. Only if a character is pure of heart or dark of heart are they able to continue along the spectrum.
Deka Soul Stone - (Soul stone is white, pure of heart.) Gain visions of those in need. Can come in dreams or in the middle of the day. Later, visions of the future can be seen. (Soul stone is black, dark of heart.) Gain the ability to manipulate darkness. Can control smoke and fog as well as appear to melt into shadows. Later, black smoke or fog will always form around their paws and may cling to their pelt too. - can be purchased from site store - won in an open rank audition or canon audition
Ekato Soul Stone - (Soul stone is gold, purest of heart.) Very few of these stones exist in the world. Gain the ability to heal wounds immediately. Later, the ability to resurrect the dead is possible. (Soul stone is red, darkest of heart.) Very few of these stones exist in the world. Gain the ability to shape shift into another animal form. Later, the ability to transform into a hybrid of their two forms is possible. It can even be possible to linger in a half dead form if they are killed. - can be purchased from site store - won in an open rank audition or canon audition
Pente Soul Stone - Enhanced Strength & Immunity As soon as a character receives their soul stone and puts it on, they automatically feel stronger and healthier. They have enhanced strength and will also be more immune to disease and illness as well as heal quicker. Their soul stone will also glow a dark blue when at this level.
Tessera Soul Stone - Color Manipulation At this level, a character gains the ability to add one luminescent color to their coat. Commonly, the color will follow the pattern of their species markings. With practice, some can learn how to create different patterns on their coats that don't follow suit with their species markings. The color will start off only being visible when the character experiences emotional spikes such as fear or enthusiasm. Later on, the color can be made visible at all times or appear and disappear on command. Color is normally a bright, unnatural color but can also be a darker or lighter natural coat color. All colors have some form of a glow. Their soul stone will also glow a blue when at this level.
Tria Soul Stone - Invisibility or Camouflage A challenging ability to control, even for those with practice. Usually easiest to activate when emotions are high. Females commonly gain the ability to fade until they are almost completely invisible. There will still be a shimmering appearance to their body which will give away their location at close inspection. Males commonly gain the ability to blend into their surroundings. Their coat will change colors to match their background. As they get better at it, their camouflage will shift to match their background as they move. Their soul stone will also glow a light blue when at this level.
Dyo Soul Stone - Elemental Manipulation A character gains the ability to control one of the four elements at this level, though their control is only minimal. Fire is the only element that can be created from nothing. Earth, water and air all require their suggestive materials to use this ability. *Electricity can be purchased from the site store and will take the place of whichever element the character could previously control. Their soul stone will also glow a teal when at this level. Earth - can twist vines, make vegetation grow or die, control a tree branch, etc. Water - can control small currents or pools, move small balls of water, freeze water to ice, etc. Air - can control a cloud, cause small gusts of wind, lower or raise the air temperature, etc. Fire - can create and control a small flame, won't get burned, light flammable materials on fire, etc. *Electricity - can create small shocks, cause strikes of lightning, light flammable materials on fire, etc.
Ena Soul Stone - Flight or Super Speed & Long Life Gain slight immortality as they can live longer lives than their counter parts. Females commonly gain wings due to their smaller size. Males commonly gain the ability of super speed due to their larger size. Wing markings will appear somewhere on the coat when this level is achieved. The actual wings that are appear and are used for both super speed and flight will normally appear only when needed and disappear when not used. Later on, wings may be able to stay visible at all times in their large form or a smaller form. With flight, the wing markings are usually on the shoulders of the creature. With super speed, the wing markings tend to be on their heels or ankles. Both flying and super speed takes a good deal of strength and characters will be tired and winded after using this ability. Their soul stone will also glow a mint color when at this level.
Deka Soul Stone - (Black) Darkness Manipulation A creature with a dark heart who learns the ways of dark magic can gain this level. The ability to manipulate darkness entails that the character can melt easily into the shadows as well as have smoke, fog or shadows always around their paws. Later, the shadows or smoke can even cling to their pelt and radiate off of them. Their soul stone will also glow black when at this level.
Deka Soul Stone - (White) Visions A creature with a pure heart who looks to help others can gain this level. Ones at this level tend to have visions of those in need. These visions can appear to them in the form of dreams or in the middle of the day. Later on, characters may see visions of the future. Their soul stone will also glow white when at this level.
Ekato Soul Stone - (Red) Shape Shift & Undead Very few will reach this level and only those that are pure evil and truly dedicate themselves to the dark magics will be able to gain this power. With this soul stone, a character gains the ability to shape shift into another animal form. Usually the animal is smaller or of close size to their original form. Most can hold their alternate form for an extended amount of time. Few can transform into a dark hybrid of their original form and their shifting form. They can also gain the ability to linger in a half dead form after they are killed, not becoming fully dead. Their soul stone will also glow red when at this level.
Ekato Soul Stone - (Gold) Healing & Resurrection Very few will reach this level and only those that are pure of heart and truly dedicate themselves to helping others will be able to gain this power. With this soul stone, a character gains the ability to heal those that are wounded immediately. This does take a good amount of their own strength though. Few can even bring the dead back to life. That power takes a large amount of strength and leaves the healer in a state of weakness for an extended amount of time. Their soul stone will also glow gold when at this level.
